Stealth Power's idle reduction solutions are incorporated in NYC's Clean Fleet Plan.
Stealth Power is proud to be a part of the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services' (DCAS) NYC Clean Fleet Plan.
Stealth Power's idle reduction technology has been installed on hundreds of FDNY ambulances and has reduced these vehicles' unnecessary idling while improving the city's air quality. Stealth Power's automatic idle reduction systems have also helped the city reduce its spend on fuel and fleet maintenance.
In a recent press release by NYCDCAS, Keith Kerman, NYC Chief Fleet Officer and DCAS Deputy Commissioner, commented on the fleet plan's success, "In 2000, Fleet had only two alternative fuel models available and neither were plug-ins. Today we have over 40 alternative fuel models on the road including electric plug-in sedan, SUV, crossover and mini-van options, and we expect to see these options continue to expand including to trucks.”
